This is our most popular mulch. Made of shredded bark from hardwood trees such as maples and oaks, this sturdy mulch compacts over time so it resists blowing away. Because of its staying power, hardwood mulch is ideal for sloped beds and gardens.
USES: Ground cover. REPENISH RATE: For maximimum effectiveness add 2 inches every 12 months.
COVERAGE GUIDELINES: 1 cubic yard covers an area approximately 162-147 square feet to a recomended depth of 2 inches.
Though we thought delivery charge was high since we paid top dollar for the mulch and we live 1 mile from the Bark Yard, Travis dropped the mulch perfectly in a tight area in my driveway. Great Job. Thanks.
