Ordering Palletized Rock

Step 1 - Which rock should I purchase?

The decision as to which rock to purchase depends on three things - use, aesthetics, and price. We have a large selection of rock products in large and small quantities.  We have products for all applications from patios to paths to dry wall construction to garden accent uses. Rocks are available in numerous colors and textures. There are pictures of different rock products on this website and we always invite you to our yard to examine our complete selection. We are always available to answer questions about our products on the phone or in person.

Step 2 - Can I have rock delivered?

We can deliver rock Monday - Saturday during business hours. Obviously Saturdays are more popular, so if that is the day you want, be sure to call earlier. "Plan ahead" is the best advice.  We can deliver 1 to 4 pallets of rock at one time depending on the weight. If the site considerations allow for it, we can deliver pallets of rock close to the work location. The cost of the delivery is based on distance from our yard.

Step 3 - How can I estimate the amount of rock that I need?

Some applications would require a certain area to be covered by rock while others may require the selections of one or more rocks of a specific size or shape. All rock is sold by the pallet. If you can visit our stores with your plans, we will be happy to assist you in making your selection and advising you on the weight of rock that you might need.

Step 4 - How can I purchase the rock that I need?

The best way is to visit our store and browse the yard. We have many knowledgeable team members that are able to help you with selecting, purchasing and handling your order. If the rock has to be delivered, that can be arranged at the store also. We pride ourselves on having the largest selection of stone and rocks in this area.

Step 5 - How do I place my order?

Call Southern Mulch. Have your measurements ready, the rock you would like, the delivery location, and the form of payment. We can accept a credit card - Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express - or you can pay with a check or cash at the time of the delivery. There is a delivery charge. The delivery charge is in addition to the price of the rock. If you have any additional questions about delivery or about our products, we would be happy to answer them at the time of your call. Of course you can also place your order by coming into our stores.
