| Our single ground hardwood bark mulch is a customer favorite. As a ground covering, the chunky size allows water filtration that promotes moisture retention in the soil. It keeps its dark color all year long. Single Ground Hardwood Bark is similar to Double Ground, but contains larger pieces of bark which last longer. Also good for use on hillsides as the heavier pieces won't float away.
