I. Compost blankets - compost and quick-germinating seed mixes blown over large surfaces to vegetate them.
Delivers faster seed germination and higher germination rate than roll-out blankets due to high organic material
content and better soil contact.

all of the small rills or fine grooves left on the soil surface
typically found on construction sites after grading. Notice there are
no air gaps between the two soil layers, which keeps the seeds
and new roots from drying out.

II. Rip rap grouting - compost and quick-germinating seed mixes blown into rip rap to form a grout or soil web in between the rock spaces to vegetate them.
Improves slope stability and appearance versus plain rip rap.

III. Filtrexx(R) - the versatile green solution for stormwater management and erosion control.
Filtrexx mesh tubes are filled on-site with mulch or compost
to control erosion and manage water quality both during and
after residential and commercial building construction. Tubes
come in diameters varying from 8" to 32" and are made from
materials that can biodegrade quickly or that can last for 15+
years; they are customizable to the job.
The filter media can be either coarse for water filtration, such as the
inlet soxx shown to the right, or it can be finer compost media,

and other live stakes can be inserted to quickly develop attractive and trash.
shrubs and trees whose root systems stabilize the soil and filter
sediments and pollutants, preventing their deposition into local waters.
There are many uses for Filtrexx soxx:
- silt fence alternative
- inlet protection
- drainage ditch water flow control
- living walls
- stream bank and lake edge restoration
- sediment traps
- concrete washout rings
Filtrexx has been approved by the following:
- 23 state DOT's
- U.S. EPA - national menu of BMPs
- SC DHEC and DOT
- AASHTO
- NPDES Phase II
